FINANCIAL INCLUSION OF
HOME-BASED WORKERS
THROUGH BUSINESS
BOOSTER LOANS AND
TRAININGS (FBLT)

HNP Paragraph

HomeNet Pakistan (HNP), established under the Societies Registration Act 1862, is a network of organisations dedicated to raising awareness about the conditions of home based women workers, who make up 70% of the informal workforce. The Financial Inclusion of Home-based Workers’ Enterprises through Business Booster Loan and Trainings (FBLT) program, implemented by HNP, focuses on strengthening Women Micro Entrepreneurs (WMEs).

The project aims to support WMEs by providing training in income generation and life management skills. Moreover, FBLT facilitates access to financial services by linking these female home-based workers with HBL Microfinance Bank. This partnership enables affordable loans, empowering women to start or grow their businesses.

The FBLT program helps WMEs to improve their businesses, access formal financial services, and ultimately achieve financial independence and business success.
