Case Studies Of Sana

Sana Hussain is a 40-year-old woman from Baldia Town, Karachi. She has a disability in her hands, which made life difficult for her, especially in finding ways to earn money. She wanted to learn skills that would allow her to work in her free time and support herself.
Sana was determined to improve her life. She kept searching for opportunities to learn new skills thatcould help her earn money. With the support of UNDP and HomeNet Pakistan (HNP), she finally got the chance to join a basic stitching and fabric designing course at a vocational training institute. Her course fees and transport costs were fully covered, so she could focus on learning without any financial burden. She also received a travel allowance through a cash app, which helped her manage her daily expenses.
Even though she faced challenges in working with her hands, Sana did not give up. She worked hard and learned new skills with dedication. This course not only taught her stitching and fabric designing but also boosted her confidence to start her own small business. Now, she wants to continue learning and improving her skills. She hopes to stay connected with HomeNet Pakistan and join more training programs to enhance her abilities.
